Privacy Notice
The personal data provided by the user when completing the registration form on the website forecaster.biz (“the Website” or “the Site”), including name, surname, email address, language preference, Google/Microsoft profile image, and telephone number, will be collected and processed to manage the user’s registration request for the reserved area and to provide the associated services. A verification email will be sent to the user’s provided email address to confirm its validity and complete the registration process.
Forecaster.biz utilizes Google Analytics to enhance user experience and improve the Website. This tool collects data regarding device, browser, specific pages visited, and user country. Importantly, this data collection is solely for analytical purposes and is not linked to the personal data of registered users. The information gathered through Google Analytics is used in aggregate form to analyze website trends and usage patterns, ensuring a more tailored and efficient user experience. We are committed to processing this data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and for the purposes outlined herein.
ELP SA, operating Forecaster.biz, does not provide investment or banking services, nor engage in activities requiring licenses, authorizations, or registration in regulated registers.
The processing of the user’s personal data is necessary to fulfill the registration request for the reserved area of the Site and to provide the user with authentication credentials required to access and use the services therein. This processing also serves legitimate interests related to organizational, technical, and security activities associated with user registration and service provision. Failure to provide the required data, in whole or in part, may prevent completion of the registration process and access to the Site or its services.
The email address provided during registration may also be used by ELP SA to send communications related to the user’s requested services.
Following registration, users can access digital services of interest and provide additional data (e.g., personal details, additional contact channels like mobile phone numbers, or company affiliation) to enhance the services provided by ELP SA or to fulfill user requests for service personalization.
With explicit consent given during registration, which can be revoked at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before revocation, the user’s personal data may be processed by ELP SA for advertising, direct sales, market research (including service quality and user satisfaction surveys), and commercial communications regarding ELP SA and third-party partner products and services via phone, mail, email, SMS, automated calling systems, and instant messaging (direct marketing purposes).
Providing data and consent for direct marketing purposes is entirely optional and refusal will not impact access to the requested services.
For the aforementioned purposes, user personal data is processed using electronic and primarily computerized tools and procedures. It may be accessed by authorized ELP SA personnel and external data processors (e.g., IT services, technical assistance, telephony, CRM software) who perform organizational and technical support tasks on behalf of ELP SA related to Site and service management. Personal data will not be disseminated or transferred to third parties located in countries outside the EU and Switzerland. Data will be retained while the user’s registration is active and, upon deactivation or service cessation, for periods required by applicable regulations for administrative and dispute resolution purposes. For direct marketing purposes, data will be retained for two years from registration or the last communication from ELP SA.
Users may exercise their rights under applicable privacy regulations, including the right to access, rectify, complete, erase, restrict processing, object to processing for legitimate interests and direct marketing, and request data portability, if applicable.
